XP... it says 'usb device not recognized'

works on laptop... not desktop (laptop is getting repairs)

99% of the time i use laptop... but i kinda wanna have desktop as a backup.

Im assuming that i need some hardware installed... figured BB desktop mgr would solve that

Do you have issues with other USB devices? Or do you have your BB pluged into a USB hub?

Did you perform a clean uninstall (search the support section of blackberry.com for instructions) and reboot before reinstalling?

What OS are you ussing?? I had the same issue with OS 4.2.x (Chinese) and did not recognize the DM. In the end I rolled back to the 4.1 OS version from T-mobile.

Sorry but that's the only solution I found.
