Just checked the status of my shipment and saw my 3 favorite words: Out for delivery.

I think I need to leave work and "work from home" today.....

Device received and activated!! Totally forgot to use the Switch Device Wizard to move everything, but did do a full backup before wiping the Tour. Thank goodness for the BBM auto backup so my contacts/groups all got restored just fine.

My son now has my old Tour. He's a happy boy.

Same with me, but the guy at my local Sprint joint (non-corporate) got them to upgrade me early. He cut me a good deal so that after rebate I will have paid about $180 after tax.

I just restored from my 9630 backup and managed to screw the pooch on the calendar. Everything is duped and I have to go through and delete entries. Looks like I had the wrong calendar set as device default when I restored. Rookie mistake. Contacts came through fine. BBM list imported as well. All my pics were on a 4GB card so I just swapped it with the 2GB one that came with the 9650.

I'm LOVIN' this trackpad!!

Just clear the calendar database through Desktop Manager and then restore again with the proper default selected. It will save a ton of time.

I got mine today from the Sprint store. I upgraded from an 8830 that I have had for 3 years. Biggest bummer for me so far is that I found out I can't move my Minisafe - Simprit went out of business. The phone seems to be awesome with a ton of memory. I have got ~ 309 MB free.

Thanks,
Chris

It restored all my BBM contacts. Everything is just as it was on my Tour.
