Thumbs down Calendar Issue

Please Login to Remove!

So I entered to appointments into my calendar this morning on the Curve itself and 1 they did not give me my 15 minute remind and 2 I cannot delete them. Anyone else having the same problem. I'm not doing anything different than I did with my previous 4 blackberrys...

Ok
EDIT:
4 hours after attempting to delete them they're gone

I had this issue as well when I had my BES and BIS emails both on. When I removed all the BIS (which were installed first) everything started working fine. My calendar now syncs no matter where I add or remove appointments from. I am getting the reminders now which I wasn't before. I couldn't even get new mail sounds to work until now. I'll start adding the BIS emails back and see if things continue to work.

I haven't had any problems at all with reminders on my 8300.

Calendar: Lotus notes on BES
Mail: Lotus Notes (BES) and Gmail (BIS)

i have the same experiences. Since I am on BIS, I am forced to sync manually with the USB cable. Every item on the blackberry calendar is duplicated, in Outlook it looks normal. i've tried to force re-sync push from outlook to blackberry, but that did not help either. any advise?

Try re-sending your service books on your handheld. You can do it from the 'set up personal email' icon on your bb.

It solved the problem for me.

I have read about the various calendar issues with the 8300 but this issue I have has occured when I used the desktop manager's switch handheld function. All of my contacts, apps, calendar entries, etc... were all moved over from the 8800 to the 8300 with no problems.

Now when I go into the Calendar and try to edit or erase an all day event I can't do that successfully. Once it's edited it won't let me save it or if I try to create a new all day event it won't let me either.

I love the Curve but I am really frustrated with the Calendar issues. I am debating on going back to my 8800 until there is an OS Update that corrects these issues.

I had the duplicate calendar issue as well. Every time I would sync with my local Outlook, every calendar entry would duplicate.

I ended up deleting all previous versions of Desktop Manager, loading the supplied v4.2.2, wiping my 8300 and resync'ng. Everything works well now.

Mine did the same thing after the first synch: double entries. As I read here, I resent the service books. I also manually deleted the double posts from my BB and put a few new entries in the BB to test it. Everything works fine now both ways.
