Hope some one can help, we have some 8700g blackberries and one of them is sending this massage back, our customer keeps getting this error message sent back when he tries to send email to this particular blackberry:

From: Mail Delivery Subsystem

Subject: Returned mail: Over quota

The original message was received at Wed, 28 Jun 2006 12:24:29 GMT from mx06.bwc.produk.on.blackberry [172.16.211.88]

----- The following addresses had permanent delivery errors ----- <vodauk-060468@imap22.bwc.eu.blackberry.com>

herexxx8217;s the thing, we used to be with Vodafone but we have moved to T-Mobile and have got the new 8700g BB's so cant figure out why the above error massage says "Vodauk"

I have sent some test emails and i dont get the error message, just seams to be this one customer!! unless its some dodgy email?

hope some one can help, as nothing is coming up on Google

Many thanks for your time

Kelly

Would there be any automatic forwarding (to and from vodafone address or from the client Outlook) still in place ?

Or the client is still sending to an old email address from vodafone?

I think you are using the BlackBerry Internet Services (BIS). You changed carrier, but use still the old BIS from Vodafone. Your plan is moved, but not your BlackBerry devices. Your BlackBerry device is still in the Vodafone database.
The BIS webmail is full. Login to the BIS client (with your Vodafone login information) and cleanup the mailfile.

Bob

Question

Hi bob thanks for your reply, when we moved to t-mobile form fodaphone, we all got new blackberrys, 8700g, we still have all the old ones here!! were running a BES server...

Hi Fkewl, we still have the same email address as before which i asume the BES forwards to the Blackberry, i wasnt here when the new Blackberrys came in my IT manager did this and would have changed all the settings from the Vodafone to the T-Mobile!!

is there anything i should check on the BES guys??

thanks kelly
