Default DM crash (mutiple versions) on Vista 32bit - help!

Please Login to Remove!

Got a new laptop at work. Vista Enterprise 32bit

Installed DM 4.7, connected BB, configured sync, and syc'd once fine.

Next time, crashed during calendar.

Deleted intellisync folder, uninstalled DM 4.7, installed DM 4.6.

Cleared databases from BB, configured sync, and sync crashed again.

BB still syncs fine on previous laptop (XP Pro) w/the same Outlook content, so it doesn't seem like the typical "you've got a bad calendar item" issue.

Appreciate any advice. Looked in the FAQ, searched here on Vista, and didn't find a fix.

Oh, the crash ranges from the type where Vista tells you the app has crashed and do you want to look for a solution to a crash where the app just goes away w/no crash message or any feedback.

The first time it failed while syncing, I got a message that there was a fix to resolve the issue and was directed to the Microsoft site to install an Outlook patch. Did that, and it obviously didn't help. (This is Outlook 2007.)

Of course, now that I've posted I am getting one sync that completed successfully w/DM 4.6 (after crashing a moment ago).

This was syncing to the BB w/all databases cleared off in advance, so all it was doing was adding items to the BB.

One in a row - woo-hoo.

OK...added a calendar item in outlook and resync'd w/out error!

Multiple failures, post a question here, then it starts working.

Clearly DM is aware that I'm posting here and trying to make me look bad...

I'll come back if things start blowing up again.
