I recently bought the 8800 which will be going back shortly. I like some of the new notifiers that are included though and would love to see a way to import them to my Pearl.

Anyone know if this is possible?

Can't you just copy them from your phone folder (once you've connected to the desktop) to another folder on the PC, then connect the Pearl and transfer them back that way?

Yeah, that sounds like it will work. Can you post them once you get them from the 8800?

I am not sure what you mean by phone folder. I cant seem to find a way to copy the ringtones from the device itself, only ones I added.

If all else fails I may try to get an audio adapter and hook it up to my computer and try to grab the tones through audio capture but I'd rather get them off of the device if I can.

technically....

if you load the 8800 handheld software on your pc and then upload the media cod via javaloader... it should appear on the pearl... you might have to rename it to the same name as the media cod that is currently in the pearl.

anyone check this out and see if it can be done? i don't have access to a usb cable to try.
