Hey there everyone ! I'm really excited about bringing home my new Pearl (8130) from Alltel today. The sales rep (manager) was awesome !

I'm still learning the "ins and outs" of the phone, but I really LOVE it so far. This is my first smart phone I've ever had. I was trying to decide on either the HTC 6800 or the Pearl. The one handed operation, sleek look, size, features, and price, all contributed to the choice of the Pearl.

I'm a South Carolina, Alltel user, after being with Verizon for the past 6 years. I'm loving my service, phones, etc.

Have a good day !!!

thanks for the welcome everyone !

I have an issue..
I have to enter in A LOT of contacts from my previous phone, Samsung Hue. Are there any applications that will allow me to send this info from my PC to my phone ? I already have them all backed up on my PC, and would really dislike having to manually type them all in on the BB. Especially since I'm so new to this suretype way of doing it lol.

Again, thanks for the welcome.

Most people use Outlook, and then sync their BB using the included Intellisync software in Desktop Manager. Support for some other PIMs, including Lotus Notes and Organizer, are included.
