Re: Blackberry z10
Well, there were none of the Big Surprises that were making the rounds on other sites. It isn't quite as fast as a Lumia 920. ActiveSync is ActiveSync. Browser seems quick but not game changing.
The Z10 is a very nice phone. A complete revamp for BlackBerry (FKA RIM) but I am not sure it is going to move the needle. And the Q10 not being out until April? is a killer.
There were several questions afterwards at lunch asking if Alicia Keys would be making sales calls.

The Q10 to me seems a better choice than the Z10 , But a 3 month wait after the announcement seems a bit too long for me . Oh well life's a xxxxx then there's Lumia 920 , this time.

I'm curious about what you think after using the Z10 for a while.

Re: Blackberry z10
I haven't had it long enough to appreciate the new features.
I will force myself to use it through the weekend...
No issues (as in broken features) but I have a lot of usability items and UI issues that I am struggling with.

Re: Blackberry z10
How does the size of the device compare to our 920s?

Thanks, but I'm looking for real-world feedback from NJ as he has both devices in his hands.

I don't have a Z10, but the update to the DA yesterday included the HUB. When I configured GMail accounts syncing email, contacts and calendar were all available options.

Re: Blackberry z10
DC/DC - I will take a side by side photo later (don't have a third camera handy).
The usable screen size is a bit larger (less than 1/2 inch) on the 920.
Overall it is a big smaller but much thinner and lighter.
The 920 weighs about 2 tons more. OK, a lot more.
On the plus side, the charging and HDMI ports are on the side AND NOT ON THE BOTTOM which is a pet peeve of mine.
No wireless charging on the Z10 (spoke to RIM sorry BlackBerry about that).
Love the form factor of the Zee/Zed 10. The Q10 (not available until who knows when) is gorgeous.
And confirming what HRBuckley posted; every account I tried to set up asked if I wanted to sync contacts and calendar.

Excellent! Thanks for the info. Thinner and lighter is what I wanted to hear. I'll also be interested in your feedback on the battery. My 920 was been insanely good.

Re: Blackberry z10
My battery eval will take a while.
I am running the device with everything enabled (NFC, Bluetooth) all the time.
I get great life on the 920 only when they are disabled.

No worries. Take your time. I run my 920 with NFC disabled, but Bluetooth and WiFi enabled all the time FWIW.

Re: Blackberry z10
Does anyone know if I buy an unlocked z10 from the UK, will the 4G LTE work on AT&T's network?

Re: Blackberry z10
Make sure it is Model Number STL100-3 - that model works on AT&T 4G LTE.
