When you upgraded, did it tell you about the new prices?

upgraded, everything seems fine.

If I currently have a separate phone (w/ cingular) for Voice and bought a BB 8700c for data, does my separate voice plan on another phone qualify me for the reduced BIS pricing?

I made the switch to the $29.99 BB data plan. I went ahead and went to a Cingular store to make the switch.

I was asked if I used my personal email or if I was with a company. They said that if I was using it through my company that it would still be $44.99. But since I have it for personal use only then I was able to switch.
Do you use an exchange service like Exchangemy mail?

I know I must be understanding this wrong.....does this mean you cannot see your email in Outlook as well?

Default pricing info

I upgraded successfully and it has been working well as far as sync with my IMAP email accounts go. I use a Mac with Apple Mail and it works very well....however the bigger drum role for me is the reduced pricing which I can find no mention of.....

Same thing happened for me. I got my Yahoo account working, but as a POP3 -- with polling, without instant push :( .

Is there some special way to get a Yahoo account set up? I didn't see one.

Hmm, I got Gmail to work - you have to activate pop email on your gmail account first.

Yahoo I think might be a problem, since POP access is only granted with their premium package (IE: you have to pay to use POP)

Here is what I want to know just to be clear, anyone chime in...

My Current Situation
1. My Blackberry is my personal device (I bought it)
2. My Blackberry is linked to my companies BES and using MS Exchange with wireless synch
3. I am currently on a BB unlimited plan 44.95
4. The BB was bought through Cingulars Business website (I get Business Support anytime I call with issues)

So if I switch to the new Cingular plan for 29.99 will they disable my BES access to my companies server? Or should I just tell them I only use it for personal use.

I'm not sure, altough I noticed that when I made the change, the BES activation icon dissapeared..

Hey i have been only a member user of the blackberry 8700c for two weeks. I just upgraded to BIS 2.0. I only use pop based email accounts so the new plan will apply to me. I was wondering i have the 74.99 blackberry tethering plan. Will that price be decreased? Also after i upgraded i noticed each email account had its own folder. Will the emails go into the main box, or be seperated by each email address?

Don't know about the price being reduced, keep checking Cingular's website or contact CC.

Your emails will be delivered to the main inbox as well as the individual mailboxes. The main mailbox shows all of your messages while the individual icons filter just those emails out. You delete in main, it deletes in individual; delete in individual it deletes in main etc.
