Just to let you know I purchased an unlocked Cingular BB 8700 from Adam at GSMPhonesource (www.gsmphonesource.com). I ordered and paid by PayPal on Monday night, arranged for FedEx pick-up at Adam's address, and the package arrived this morning in London.

Corect. GPRS though. I'm now using a UK O2 Sim in mmy 8700c. Used Adam @ GSP Phonesource to unlock it.

I have seen an 8700 in Amsterdam that was on EDGE (cant remember the carrier though). I'm on Tmobile in the US and have been using my unlocked 8700c on the TMO Edge network with no problems. Now that I'm back in Amsterdam though, I'm only getting GPRS no matter which network I choose. Is this a service book issue? Does anyone know how I can get on an EDGE network? I know its here!
