Default Games in Australia on the B9000

Please Login to Remove!

So I've decided it might be cool to get the new Real Football Manager 2010 game on my Blackberry, but I can't download Appworld in Australia. I went onto Gamesoft's site and found the SMS code, but that uses WAP, which costs me heaps, whilst BBBrowser costs me nothing. What's the best way to go about getting this?

Cheers.

No Australians on here with help? Is there an Australian help site? I'm happy to buy it via SMS, but I don't want to have to download via WAP. I'm unfamiliar with WAP, is there a way to use WAP through the BBBrowser?

yes you set it to use the wap browser.
its all the same icon, you just set it to use different borwsers.

but it will still charge you, its still WAP.

So there's a difference between 'the internet' and WAP? Is it just a difference in connection methods?

So I tried it anyway, paid my $6 and it said I wasn't connected to the internet. I quite obviously am, as I got the details through the phone via their website.

Can't get the file back either it doesn't look like it. Is it stored anywhere?

Yes, WAP is web pages designed only for mobiles.
the internet is like going on the internet on a pc. you can access about 97% of pages out there on a BB.

Oh ok, cool. But that doesn't really explain why it said I wasn't connected to the internet. Do you know if the gameloft links are kept anywhere? Am willing to pay again, just can't see where I went wrong. Oh well, poker it is until fm10 comes out on pc.
