Default Google Calendar <-> BB

Please Login to Remove!

1. I create a recurring event on my BB Calendar. I sync my BB with Google Calendar using Google Sync. The recurring event does not show up at all in Google Calendar.

2. I create a recurring event in Google Calendar. I sync my BB with Google Calendar using Google Sync. The event does appear in my BB calendar, but in the “Recurrence” field, it says “None.”

What gives?

Google Calendar Sync has been very buggy with recurring and all day appointments. It has since it came out.

What Sith said. You're better off syncing your BB to Outlook, then from Outlook to Google Calendar using Google Calendar Sync. As far as I know, the desktop app is able to sync flawlessly.

Yea, Google Sync still has some bugs.. I started with one recurring event next month.. somehow now I have three of them.. I would not recommend using it if you do not have time to deal with the bugs..

I use google sync and have been since it came out. No problems but I don't use recurring events in my calendar. You might want to try here:

Google Mobile Help Group | Google Groups

There is a group just for google sync.

PhillyGuy, if you edit a recurring event on your Blackberry, will it will apply the changes to all instances of that recurring event in Google Calendar?

Google sync messed up my calendar and my daughter's calendar as well. Duplicate events all over the place and then lost appointments, too. Couldn't get it off my BB fast enough!

I haven't tried it. I try to stay away from editing events on the BB calendar. Whenever possbile I edit events on Outlook.

I've found that I can edit non-recurring events just fine from my BB.
