Default blackberry gps proximity alerts

i'm looking for any programs that alert friends when they are in the vicinity. i've got loopt installed. but there's a new version that only allows .5, 2, and 10 mile radiuses. that one is installed on friends phone. 2 being too short and 10 being too long. i have the old version on my phone that gives me a 5 mile radius which is perfect. the next time i reload my phone though. i'm gonna be stuck with the new version. as loopt doesn't make different versions available.

i had a program once that i was playing around with. it has 3, 6, 9, and 12 mile alerts. but never had any friends to use it with untill now. so i don't remember what program it was. and google isn't coming up with anything.

i have another program called samecellsearch47. but it don't seem to want to work on 8330 running software 5.0

don't really need anything fancy. just a basic program to send an alert.

any suggestions?

There's a program called BLIP plus. It's made by blackline gps and you'll have to search since I cannot post links yet.
blacklinegps dott com will find you there.

All parties must load it, but then you're good to go. It gives 2, then 3 and 5 between 2 and 10 miles out. I've just now set the proximity setting, so I cannot tell you yet how well that feature works.
I travel a lot during the day, this program leaves a breadcrumb trail you can view online, so if it's tracking you'll be able to go back and see everywhere you've been (if you tell it to auto-publish).

We've enjoyed it, and it's free.
