I've got an AT&T BB 8820 on BIS. I continuously experience difficulty loading new applications with the BB Desktop Manager 4.2.2. OTA the downloading works perfectly.

I receive the error message "No applications designed for your device were found".

I've done the complete delete and reinstall of the the desktop manager but no luck.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!!!

Have you clicked on ADD and browsed to where the .alx file is located?

Yes. I am familiar with the loading procedure and have successfully loaded numerous 3rd party apps on my old 8800 and wife's 8300.

The new apps purchased/freeware indicate they are for either 8820 or 88XX series devices. Following the same process as previously done, I get the error message.

Not sure where to go from here?

You have to download and install the Handheld Operating System for the 8820 onto your PC so DM can recognize it.

Thanks. Can you point me in the right direction to locate as I checked the Blackberry website and all I find under downloads is the DM 4.2 SP2 and does not list anything for devices such as 8820.
