Default Moving my 8830 to a new country

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

Maybe this is an easy fix, but after searching the forum, I couldn't find the answer...

My friend gave me his old Telus (Canada) 8830 and I purchased a Virgin Mobile SIM in Australia. It works fine in that I can dial out locally and people can call me locally. This is a permanent move for the phone.

BUT...

The phone book is requiring me to add the local country code to send texts or dial from it.

How do I tell the blackberry that a number is now a local number?
