My phone was working fine yesterday, then at night i picked it up to see if i missed any messages and there sat a white scree with nothing but Device Error:371 on it. It pissed me of a little, but i didnt fret too much cause i figured i would just reload the os in the morning, but for the first time since I've owned a blackberry I am unable to get it working. is this 371 error bad news? I still haven't tried jl commander *hopes*

I have heard folks solve this error, allegedly, by installing the original OS from the original carrier. I'm skeptical, but several folks seemed to claim success. Worth a shot anyway. Just be sure you're using an OS specifically for the 8800 series BlackBerry.

I hope it wasn't the 4.6.1.239 os that caused this or there may be a lot more people with this same problem. My phone had issues from the day it arrived tho, tmobile is making it so inconvenient to swap out too. As soon as my replacement arrives im selling it and going to verizon lol.
