Default Red X help

Please Login to Remove!

My friends on my BBM list keep telling me that when they try to send me a BB message I have a Red X most of the time. I reboot the phone and it stops for a little while but doesn't last. I just got the phone about 3 weeks ago. What can I do?

Thanks for any help.

Have them try and resend (menu > resend).

Also, scrolling up to the top of the message will reveal a line with a statement about the failure. Have them tell you what they read there.

All they have told me is there is a Red X all the time so they can't or don't send me a message. Should I ask them to still scroll up to the top of the message?

Yes... First, tell them to highlight the failed message, open the menu, and click resend. If it still won't send, they should then open the failed message, scroll to to top, and tell you what they read there.
