I have searched and read many threads about similar issues, but with no success. I just downloaded the newest version of Facebook, installed without issue, and now the icon cannot be seen on my home screen. I tried a battery pull, nothing. I tried to reload the software, nothing. The program is active on the phone because I am receiving info into my email account with updates, but still I cannot find the icon. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

PS - I have a storm, but this is for my 8130.

It might be hidden or in the applications folder. Check and see.

I have tried to do a "show all" not to be found. I do not have an applications folder on this phone...as far as I know. Thanks though.

Check in other folders on the device. Check every folder and do a show all in the folder as well. If you're getting the notifications in your messages, then it has to be on the device.

I have already tried using the "show all" function and no icon appears. I do not have any folders on the phone.

Try changing themes and see if you can find it.

Well I was never able to find any solution to this... So, I ended up installing an updated OS and then reinstalling FB. Everything works fine now. Thanks for all the help everyone.
