Hi,
so i have just attempted to repair my blackberry curve 8520 with an new screen (as my dog chewed one) and have just put it back together and its not even turning on.

My only thought that i have done something wrong or not done something is with the little red flap at the top left, it seemed like it should clip in or something but i didnt know what to do with it OR find any help on what to do when placing the screen in.

All tutorials just tell you how to take it apart and then say "now to put it back together you just need to follow the steps backwards"

If your dog chewed it, there is probably more damage than just a broken screen. Or you might have broken something else as you were taking it apart.

Really hard to say what you did wrong. Do you have everything connected properly?

Maybe you should take it to someone who can repair it for you?

Well it only cracked the screen im quite sure, but do you have to clasp the little red bit in as when taking it apart you have to unclip it with the tool!?!
also i took it to someone to repair it for me who wanted to charge me 160!!! when the screen and tools were only a tenner on ebay i thought i would do it myself

Are you sure you got the correct screen replacement? How did you order the part, by the BB model number or by the part number stamped on the old screen?

Also, the tiny connecters can be very difficult to snap together and have to be completely pushed together.

A single model BlackBerry can use different screens depending on when it was made.
