I setup a custom profile yesterday where everything, phone calls, messages, emails, alerts, are all vibrations. I enabled the LED indicator each communication format, yet it doesn't light up when I have a message waiting to be read. Am I misunderstanding something?

I'm back onto using a built-in profile (which I think is ridiculous that you can't edit it) for now.

My reason for creating the custom profile is that my LED indicator will flash Red for no reason, and I'm trying to figure out why it's doing this. I had no messages incoming, was not transmitting any, had service with full data support, and my battery is not dying. No calandar appointments were coming up and no alerts/tasks etc. running.

Don't know, sounds like it may be a faulty device. Can you take it into a local Verizon store?

Yeah, I can, I just hate going there. These BB's have so many damned options and ways to change settings, I figured I would throw my problem out here first, see if I'm just missing something.

Try a battery pull, it may reset everything for you.
