I hate to pint out the obvious but are tasks selected to sync in the bbsync app on the computer? i.e. when you open up bbsync are tasks selected on the computer, and are they selected when you open the app on your bb and go to configuration?

You guys are going to cause yourselves (and likely Josh's team) more problems by jumping the gun...
Be patient...it's coming very soon, we should be able to wait a bit longer!

Josh,
Just sent you logs again now from both the PC and the BB. Still no auto-sync at all. I've been out of town a couple days and haven't forced any syncs from the BB, and I note that the log that came up on the BB shows last activity as Tuesday, Feb 26th.

Hi folks, the 0.7.9 SP2 Build can now be downloaded. You will be getting an email with the links and explanation of the bugs fixed.
Also, I wanted to remind everyone that the initial sync data map requires that you turn of password security to your BB temporarily for that time being.
Also, we have several methods of data mapping and this build incorporates version 2. If your data mapping takes a long time (more than 30 minutes), please cancel it and send us an email. We will have version 3 incorporated into 0.7.9 SP3 ready tomorrow for download. Internal testing showed that on our machines, version 2 was faster by a couple of minutes, but further testing with another configuration showed it was much slower. So please bear with us while we work through some of these things.
Anyways, here are the links.

Thanks.

Took 8 minutes for my initial sync (now known as Data Mapping).
Can't get the Advanced button to work...if I click on it the BBerrysync PC client hangs. Anyone else?

First time I tried it, it hung. Restarted, tried it again, was able to get into "Advanced" and set an alternate contacts folder as I'd been wanting to do.
However, every time (at least a dozen or so now over half an hour) that I try to go to Options --> Mail Setting, I get a window saying "Mail Service is busy, Please try again later" so I'm unable to set which accounts to sync, and unless I can do that, then I don't want to try turning mail sync on at all.

Josh or sith,
I can add a calendar item to outlook and it will send it to the blackberry pretty quick. When I add a calendar item to the BB it doesn't seem to sync to outlook.
The sync on the BB shows things in que to the server.
Any help on this or suggestions?
Thanks
Shawn

ok, i am trying the Beta 3. when i create an event in outlook, it syncs very quickly with the BB. When i delete said object on the BB, it changes the event in outlook from a single day to multiple days. I have been able to reproduce this error 6/6 attempts.
