i am on my second 8130 with the same problem. ill start off by saying the for the first month i had the phone it was working perfect. anyway, what is happening is, after i make 2 phone calls using my bluetooth earpiece, the bluetooth in the pearl disables. then i have to go back through the settings and enable it again. then 2 more calls and it disables again. i have 4 different bluetooth headsets and it happens with all of them so i dont think it is a compatibility issue. bluetooth worked perfect the first month, then this started happening so i swapped it out and it has been happening since day 1 with the second phone. anyone else have this problem or have an answer to it?

Another user here helped me with the same issue by suggesting turning the blue LED for BT connection back on if you've previously diabled it (options->Bluetooth->options->LED connection indicator = ON. I haven't had a single recurrence of the problem since turning that silly little light back on. It's at least less annoying than the constant BT-disable bug.

well after upgrading the software, the problem still persists. i turned the status light back on and hopefully that works. now that i think about it, it was right around the time that i turned that light off when it started disabling. hopefully that is the problem. thanks guys.

I have the status light on and I still have the problem. Been through two BB's and 3 headsets. I think it is software related.

Within the last week and a half I've been experiencing this same bug. Then yesterday I wasn't able to re-enable it either. I tried three or four times with no success and ended up having to do a battery pull befor th BT would work again. I'm using the latest OS and the status light has always been on. So I tend to agree that it's software related.
