Hi I bought a brand new 9300 Curve 3G on the new OS 6.0. The battery in the morning will be 100% and the phone will be dead by about 1-2pm even if I used it only a couple times. I turned everything off - Wifi, GPS, bluetooth. Put it on 2G only, dimmed the backlight, closed all the applications, turned vibration off, put a stock ring tone on it and the same problems. If I charge the phone 100% and turn it off at night, by morning the phone will be dead.

I thought it was the battery, so I switched the battery with a BB Bold battery. The Bold did fine with my 9300 battery but the curve still had the same problems even with the new battery. Wut seems to be the problem? Any help please,, thank you.

You can try updating the software. Sometimes as OS version has lousy power management and gets fixed with a new version. If it's the newest version already you might try downgrading to an earlier version of OS 6.

If that doesn't fix the issue I would exchange it.

Are you sure the BlackBerry is new?
