OK this is a new one on me. Not sure if there is a solution. I'm actually really good with blackberry stuff but I don't think this can be done. Just wanted to see if anyone knows.

This is for my blackberry curve. I use Tmobile for service. My email is yahoo and I do not use outlook. No outlook, just the web based email. Recently, I started using folders within my yahoo email just to get a bit more together. When I did that. I only get email notification when emails hit my inbox. If they get filtered to a folder. I get nothing. I just check my email at some point from a pc and see them.

Thats right, I don't even see the folders on my blackberry.

So I'm wondering. Does anyone know of a way around this?

I got this with Gmail. It seems to be a race between the BB service seeing a mail in the inbox and the email service taking it out of the inbox into a folder before the BB service has seen it. With Gmail I got *some* mails before they were filtered/moved into other folders. I don't do that now. (Actaully Gmail uses labels rather than folders, but what i descriobed was the effect)

BIS only polls the server INBOX
If you have filters setup to filter mail once it hits the inbox, the BB will never see it.

BIS also doesnt support folders.

There's no work around, you have to live with it, or remove the filters.
