yes. there are a few RSS feed software for download that are free. I have used viigo in the past and was not satisfied with it, others swear by it. give it a shot!

Wirelessly posted (8700g)

As others have respnded, there are applications. There is also bloglines, and perhaps other web-based services I'm unaware of. And if you are running OS 4.2 or newer, the blackberry browser will render some syndication formats but not others.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Several newsreader programs as mentioned.

My preference is Viigo which was mentioned above.

Do NOT use Viigo if you are trying to get emergency feeds from your job.

The way Viigo works is that Viigo's servers need to download the information. Then, on a regular basis (set within Viigo), your BB connects to Viigo's servers to download the information. This works well for popular feeds, as the information you want is to the Viigo server and should be fairly up-to-date. A less common feed (such as one for your job) will not be on the Viigo server and therefore it can take hours (or even, in some cases, a day or more) for the feed to make it to your BB.

The way around this is to manually "Update" the feed. This will go to the feed's server to get the information. However, this is NOT automatic. And Viigo's "Update All" functionality will not do this. You need to manually do a single feed "Update."

If you really need to get up-to-the-minute information from your job, see if they offer another mechanism, like e-mail or SMS. If RSS feeds are they only way they can provide this information, you'll need a BB-based reader that (a) polls for new content on a fairly frequent basis and (b) does not rely on an intermediary server.

I haven't tried any of them, but there are a few RSS-to-email solutions out there (Google "RSS VIA EMAIL"). If you find one that polls often (like every 5 minutes), these can send your BB an e-mail when the feed changes.

The browser itsel can also facilitate RSS feeds in list view type view.
Add bookmark with the rss link

There are then the menu options to view the description and full story.

You can then also set the Synchronize intervals via the bookmark settings.

I am however a Strong Viigo supporter: http://mobile.blackberry.com
