A Pearl with WiFi (8120) to TMo is the latest rumor...

The curve with GPS is the 8310 is with AT&T.

**and moving this to the Rumor Mill section**

Why not GPS? Maybe it is political and they must give exclusives to other vendors for awhile???

Could be any number of reasons as to why or why not. Odds are wifi was chosen as they are pushing their UMA services

An unlocked 8310 or 8110 will work absolutely perfectly on t-mobile.

I just bought an 8310 (the curve with GPS) last week and had it unlocked and now use it on T-Mobile. I work in politics and we are campainging right now so we are around the district often and often times are going to unknown locations so the GPS was what I needed. Got it unlocked from Adam at GSM Phone Source and it works beautifully. I love it!

What are you using for GPS? Did you have to use a 3rd party GPS?

Right now I just use google maps. Its worked well enough that I havent downloaded any apps that charge, like telenav. I just use the directions feature and my location feature which gives me my location 98% of the time within 9 feet of my actual location. My other phone with google maps without GPS was within 1700-2600 meters, so it is a big difference. With google maps the GPS works automatically and nothing else needs to be downloaded.

At this point, it is safe to say that they wont get them. If you want a curve or a pearl you have a choice to make, GPS or WIFI?

i dont understand why you guys dont buy a blackberry at an other provider and use it in your network? Here in Belgium all blackberries are SIMlock free, so you can take it wherever you want and plug it in whatever network you want. or is there something else why you cant get one from an other provider?

For T-Mobile, if you use their Hotspot@Home service, you need a T-Mobile branded phone... Otherwise I would be buying an unlocked one.

Well you will have Full Qwerty, WIFI,Camera,Video, and GPS but it wont be a Curve. Its the 8820, and its will be @ T-Mo sooner than you think.

It will be out on t-mobile soon, march or sometime close. But it wont have a camera or video recording. It will be exactly the same as the 8820 currently sold by AT&T, with hotspots@home enabled.
