Tmob said that when they change the name to talk forever its just talking no internet access? Why get the hotspot plan for 19.99 when you can get the 9.99 talk forever plan right?

Hmmm. Sounds like an anti-competitive move by AT&T: restrict the growth of UMA by knocking out TMO's best set of public access points.

At the "free" access at Starbucks certainly begs the competitive question.

Unless AT&T removes or somehow changes the configuration of the wireless routers at the Starbucks UMA will probably still work fine.

So at a minimum, those with H@H would be able to use UMA for at least 5 years. Tmobile could maybe cut off regular UMA, but its probably easier just to let it continue.

Hmmm. What does this mean for those that use UMA without the supplemental H@H service or a T-Mobile Hotspot account? It all seems silent on that topic.

It will still work fine, with or without the H@H or Talk Forever plan.

How do you like the .180 OS you are using? Do you know the difference in that OS and .184? Anyone?

I only used .180 for a short time. .184 works fine for me.

Without H@H, the only real impact is if there's no EDGE or GSM service. Sure you can do slightly more over UMA, but if they somehow blocked non H@H users, how many Starbucks are in cell dead spots?
