Has anyone had this issue? Sometimes when browsing the internet, the pointer disappears. I can still scroll in all directions but I can't select or click on links. To fix it I have to either "go back" to a previous page and start over or restart the browser. Sometimes if I scroll all the way down on the page and scroll up slowly, the pointer reappears.

I checked on the RIM site and there is no indication of any issues with the browser. It may be something the web page is doing. I wonder if you get the same type of response on a PC. I would look at the 9780 manual, there seems to be a lot of commands that may help when on a web page. One other thought, you may have discovered a new bug.

I am experiencing the same issue and the workaround is to refresh the page.
Also other issue i see is that the sometimes my letters are being repeated as if i left the key pressed. I could see "Heyyyyy" all of sudden. I will keep trying but good thing I got insurance for this baby

I haven't had the issue of repeating keys. Yeah refreshing the page works to bring back the pointer but we shouldn't have to do that. It must be a bug with the 9780 or OS6...I've never had this issue with previous blackberrys.

Press aA button on the left or on the right...it will show you the cursor...hope this would help

i Have had the same problem with my 9780. I did a reboot and it solved the problem for good.

Guys, why is RIM not helping us on this issue? Its quite annoying that you have a handset that you can't use to browse pages. The problem is now worse on my phone, I just can't take it any more. The refresh or aA is not working for me and I will have to restart the browser

Repeated keys is due to the key problem. In your case, you have problem with the 'Y' key. Do you here a click when you press it? I send mine back to the place where I bought the set.

When reading message on Facebook, I cannot control the page. It doesn't want to move as command. Very difficult to read a long message.

Anyone know the get around to this?

Hi guys, I did some research on the repeating keys and apparently its a hardware fault on most 9780s. This is so unfair though because I'm sure that RIM knows about this problem since so many people are suffering from it but they do nothing about it. And what's worse is that u paying so much for a faulty phone! I'm also suffffering (an example of what I'm talking about) from a disappearing cursor although lastnight I updated my os and so far it looks like I don't have the missing cursor problem anymore.
