Hi

This is a strange problem in 8100. I have installed an application in my BB8100.Then i uinstalled it by going to options - Advanced options-Applications. and it showed that application is uninstalled sucessfully. But when i return to the home screen the application icon is still there and clicking on it launches it. When i go to the Application list option its not showing the application name. So now I cannot unintall the application. Can anyone tell me what is the problem .I tried to do the reset and used desktop manager also still its not going.

Do a battery pull. Once its back on, the app will be gone.

When uninstalling this app, it asked you to restart now or later. You must have clicked later

Or not! I still have 1 app on my pearl and I think the only way to remove it is to load OS again.

ohh..tat is just a bug...simply select the application icon ..press menu key and select hide...

and yes...click on the app icon..if it takes u to a browser, tat means its uninstalled already

do I understand it right, the icon is the only thing that is left on BB, no other memory usage?
