Default Battery running low quick

Please Login to Remove!

i have just got my BB for about a month now.

At first, my battery can run for at least 3 - 4 days without charging it. However, after I got my data plan and downloaded some games, surf a couple min using the browser, it runs low pretty quick even without using it.

Is this because the browser is still running even though i am not using it? how can i totally end task all the program to avoid low batt?

thanks.

You can close your browser by clicking the wheel and hitting close. Did you download any instant messaging or using any instant messaging programs? They are notorius for eating the battery.

Actually, the browser on the 8100 cannot be closed. There are 5 programs that always run and there is no way to close them: Phone, Browser, BB Messenger, Messages, and Home Screen.
