i looked in the 8800 manual for this, and i can't find the corresponding features on my phone

i want to be able to do a use-once sms text, and send an sms message to someone NOT in my phone book

everything says that there is a compose sms, use once feature, but all i find are features that say Send SMS to a particular person (in my contacts)

what am i missing

it's not at the very top when you go to "compose sms", then it loads your addressbook, but if you scroll all the way to the top....that's where it is on my 7130e and 8830 both on BES

Yikes, could they have made that feature anymore difficult to find.

It's definitely not hard to find. If you're in the middle of your list of contacts and don't want to scroll up then just type "u" in the find field. ;)

When I type U in the Find field of contacts, I get the first contact who's last name starts with the letter U, which in my case is a guy whose last name is Union.

How come?
