the new 328 is for the CDMA version of the Storm 9530
it will not load onto a 9500.

If your device is working as you want and need it to work, why risk it?

IMHO, if it ain't broken, there is no need to fix it.

Its strange, because if the Storm is available in the UK, i see no benefit in buying a CDMA version.
I understand why people want to bring the Tour over here, as its not carried here.

Ive no idea if you would see an advantage.
The only one I can see is that its officially released, vs a beta release.
it should work with everything its supposed, unlike beta releases.

You would see many advantages and new features. Scroll through some of the 5.0 upgrade threads and you'll discover them.

But like was said.. if what you have works...

I installed .323 a couple days before .328 was released as well, and I did noticed a couple minor bug fixes. That's about it, though.

Yes. There are some bug fixes betwee 323 and 328. Specific ones that I know of are:

- new voice mail notification is fixed for Visual Voice Mail. (In 323, VVM would not tell you if you had a new voice mail)

- the WeatherBug icon now changes to show current conditions. That was broken in 323.

On the down side, when I upgraded from 323 to 328, I lost all my Contacts in BlackBerry Messenger. I didn't lose them when I upgraded from the 5.0.0.230/238 Hybrid to 323, so I was pretty surprised that I lost them going to 328.

Adorkable,

.328 fixed a few things.

For me my weather program runs flawless and updates as it is supposed to do. Facebook runs better (which I am a slave to). Quickpull works again.

For everyone else with Verizon, I suggest you upgrade to any authorized version that is designed specifically for your phone. I was loving life with .323 but .328 does run smoother.

If you have a theme designed for 4.7 you will get the white edges in landscape mode. I have tried a couple of the so-called fixes from Crackberry and none of the worked for my two themes.

it's a good build, so far i have not experienced any problems. be sure to reboot your device a few times over a few days to let the OS sink in with the phone.

so far happy with .328 and using the 9530 unlocked with t-mobile on EDGE service. browser is pretty darn fast.

328 is much improved. edge hangs out for less than 30 secs before it goes to EDGE and sticks. just make sure ur connections is set to 2G or 2G & 3G

I just downloaded .328 on both my phone and my wife's phone. We were both using Rhapsody with no problem before the update. Now my phone is not connecting to it and hers is working fine. When I go to "my computer" it shows her as "Blackberry 9530". My phone comes up as "removable disk E" and "removable disk K". The memory settings are the same on both phones. Anyone have any suggestions?
