We all know that you cant set the BB to delete messages off your desktop with BWC. You can only set it to delete from the BWC inbox and set BWC to remove emails from your POP account.

However, this means you cant use Outlook on your PC to download mail from your POP account anymore. Once work around I have thought of is to set Outlook to download mail from the BWC inbox. Is this possible? If so what is the incoming POP3 mail server address?

Update:

I have just been told by RIM that you cannot POP the BWC inbox. There is another option if you are willing to have your PC on and connected to the net at all times and you have Outlook installed.

The other option you are referring to is called the Desktop Redirector; you leave the PC logged in and turned on, running the redirector. However, and this point may have been lost, the rediretor was designed to work with Exchange and Outlook - non POP3. Last time someone I know tried to use the redirector, with Outlook and a POP3 mailbox, the redirector shut down as soon as it was started.

I was told that BDR doesnt require Exchange but does require MAPI hence it will only work with Outlook. I personally havnt tried it with POP yet as I can't afford to the leave the PC on all day.
