koleary19067...make sure your end time is not left at the default of 12am...set the end time to an hour or two from the time you want the refreshing to start. The purpose of the end time is so that the refresh stops after a while so as not to drain your battery.

Mark: I fear even asking the question knowing the answer is probably incredibly simple. I can not display anything in the Sports module. Mine just displays Last Score Board Update and upates to the current time when I try to refresh. Below that it just says Pocket Day Sports Trial 15 Days left but no feeds, no data. I am using a Registered version of PD version 3.0. I have done soft and hard reboots and no dice. I am not sure if the following is of any importance: when I do a Pocket Day License check it dispays Sports NOT ACTIVE and it seems that may not be right like it should be indicating a trial period. Any ideas? I'd really like to try this. Also any chance of adding additional leagues in particular I woudl really be interested in ECHL hockey. If there is additional cost for Crosswinds, enough said I did not know if you had adding leagues at your disposal.. Many Thanks....

For all you complaining that $3.95 a month or $40.00 a year is ridiculous, it's just not for you. It's a great program. Now that the game previews and recaps are working, I think it is outstanding. I was paying the $4.95 a month for ESPN to send me Period or Quarter updates for these scores, now I get updated at whaever interval I choose, in one concise, easy to access location!!! If it's not for you, fine.... please move along. But CRS and Tirsch are huge supporters of the BBF, and their tech support is awesome. Feedback is one thing, but calling someone greedy is another when you don't know all the facts, and you arent investing the time and money.... sorry just had to vent!
No I dont work for CRS, but PocketDay is my most helpful APP on my BB.

Just a small observation.... sports scores are supposed to have the Home team listed on the botton, away team on the top. My trial shows them the other way around.

Cyberjack, check the date on the right of the sports section. Today is Sunday so switch to the NFL and you should see everything. If you change the Sports Date (a menu option) to yesterday, you should see NBA and NFL games.

Ouch....PD has been pretty cool on my 7520 except for having to re-install it once a week when it goes crazy accessing the network. I am a sports freak but I can get all the sports updates I need free on Yahoo and RSS feeds, so this isn't worth the money to me. Especailly with the issues PD has on the IDEN network.

Mark:
Thanks for the tips, I have changed the date and get nothing, it just does not provide me any data. All I can see is that there are now 13 days left in the trial but absolutely no data. Everything in PD works fine and updates correctly. No sports scores. I guess from your response that when I go to Check Sports Subscription that does not impact anything?? Thanks for the assist.

CyberJack...a few things to check...that the Sports section is not collapsed...when you refresh, do you see the arrows flashing?

Try a firewall reset...also, the subcription not active is fine as long as you are on the trial.

I just compared the lag time on the link I posted earlier with the games today and the diff between the game and the link is only about 30 seconds wich translates to ONE play, if that.
the link posted is only for the NFL but all you have to do is scroll to the bottom and click on "ESPN" and it will take you to the main page with all the scores of all major sports.

Here is the link to the main page:

http://proxy.espn.go.com/wireless/espn/wml/index

NFL
NBA
College Foot Ball
Great plays
NHL
Mens College BB
MLB
Golf
Womens College BB
Motorsports
WNBA
Tennis
Boxing
Horse Racing

and those are just the head listings and there is more in each one. ALL this at pretty close to real time.

Yes I am aware of and I am using the current version and it still freaks out every week to ten days.

I'm not actually implying anything. Just an observation.
