Default Friendly reminder: 9800 Forum (HowardForums beat you -- first time it happened!)

Please Login to Remove!

Hello!

Just a friendly reminder to the BBF Admin (Hello Tom et cetera! P.S. I moved to Toronto) to create the 9800 Slider forum.

HowardForums and Crackberry have created the 9800 forums already. I remember when I helped Tom get BBF popular back in year 2004 with all my promotions and FAQ and still have a fond memory of these forums in its heydy -- it was so bleeding edge and you were the first forum on this planet to have specific topic areas! Hurry up and create the 9800 forum, it's one of the most coveted BlackBerries since the BlackBerry Bold.

(Also, you might wish to merge the 9100 and 9105 areas. Most people think there is no need for separate topics for these two models. Yes, I know one of the Pearl's has that ugly keyboard, but it's just a niche model that only deserves a sticky thread for its device-specific features. The 9100/9105 sticks out extremely clearly, especially as one of the minor 91XX models are a niche-market specific-carrier-satisfying model that only deserves a sticky thread or subforum. Tom, you may remember the old forum moderator/admin trick -- that it's best to seed a forum with too few topic areas and split later: Chicken-and-egg problem of making popular subforum areas as popular as possible as quickly as possible -- but they tend to go dead when split into too many topics. So one instead of two.)

Side observation -- the 9800 forum on Crackberry has more posts than their *combined* 9100/9105 forum, showing that it's clearly more coveted. I can't wait for the 9800.

It's a valid suggestion, and it has been implemented.. Simply suggesting it would have been enough, no need for the speech Mark!
