Help, even though I have the setting to save email for 6 months the emails are being deleted after about 8-10 days. I have 2 email and 1 text account. Each is only saving about 50 messages. The BB site claims the storm will hold 65,000 messages. I have spent hours with verizon tech and hours with BB tech. Anyone run across this problem before (with verizon)

What is your file free (Options > Status)?

What is your retention set to? Are syncing with outlook etc? Did you move the emails to a sub folder?

My file free is 21228200 bytes. I sink wiht outlook 2007. I am not on a company server. Just my personal email. I have not moved any emails. Tech had me wipe the unit and start over. Did not work. They called me this pm and are sending me a new phone. I just have a feeling its not the phone its in the settings somewhere.

The fix from BB, they sent me a new phone. I'll post if that is the fix.

I have checked all settings. Gone thru settings with BB support. I have plenty of memory .859.3 MB
Can anyone tell me how many emails are on there storm before they are erased. Mine goes about 10 days and about 85 emails. Verizon wireless

Are you downloading the emails to your computer via an email client such as Outlook? Perhaps you need to get Outlook to leave a copy of the messages on the server? Otherwise they will be removed from the BB on reconciliation.

i am having the same issue. i have plenty of free space 700+mb's but my text messages only go back to Sept 29th even though i have it set to save messages for 2 months!
anyone figure this out yet?
