Angry That Wasn't Me!

Please Login to Remove!

I left my blackberry forums page logged in on a public computer (I was at Loyola's Library) and whomever got on there next had a lot of fun because they were messaging people, and apparently, they must've read through my own posts and then posted something about me getting a new phone.

I AM NOT GETTING A NEW PHONE. My phone still has all the scratches on it and has a new screen protector now. There would be no point in me getting another pearl at this point since the 8800 is coming out in December and I will be switching to that one as soon as it comes out.

I only knew something was up once I saw on my personal webpage that there were 50+ hits all from a blackberry forum thread (which is now closed).

Geez, people, give me some credit here. The person who wrote the post also used 7-8 smileys and I'm not big on smileys. Anyway, I'm annoyed but it's my own fault because I walked away from the computer without logging off of my user account. Just wanted to let you guys know that.

I bet he had fun impersonating you! :D

But it's a good thing you posted this. I think everyone should remember to always log off.

Sometimes I go to a high speed internet place to use their computer and sometimes I noticed they left their AOLIM still sign on! If I was really evil, I will start using it and impersonate that person. But I am not evil so I just be a nice guy and log off his/her account.

Be careful when you use a public computer. When you are done, make sure you log off everything. If possible, reset the computer. Usually, the admin will set it so when the computer reset, it also reset the cookies so you are log off everything.

Believe what you will and won't, but I didn't post it. Look at the original thread and you'll see that it was posted after midnight on a Saturday night. Why in the world would I be sitting on BBforums when I could be (and WAS) out with my friends?

It's funny how many people fell for the obvious bait though...
