Default Is there anyway possible to use browser during phone call?

Please Login to Remove!

Is there somehow to get around the message "A Voice Call is currently in progress. Browsing will not be possible untill the Voice Call has been ended."?

Maybe an app that could do this?

Thanks,
-Rich

"Get around" the message?
You cannot browse while on a call, because your model cant do voice and data at the same time.

Actually, the 8320 can browse whilst on a call provided the device is connected to a WiFi network in addition to the carrier network.

True.

This is the only way to do it unless you get a 3G device. Using bluetooth while on a call using Wifi can been known to cause problems from time to time. Just a heads up

at&t phones can now browse the web while on a call but as of right now t-mobile phones can't. you could also use the wi-fi method mentioned above.

Not all at&t BB's can browse while on calls. Only those with 3G.

It's 3G. I can make a call and do e-mail and browse. With WiFi it's even better. But it works fine.

It functions the same way as the AT&T 9700, but with UMA for voice over WiFi. I tend to turn the WiFi off in areas with good 3G.

Funny enough, an American called my center saying that a t mobile rep stated that only their branded 9700's had wifi capabilities and no others. And he challenged me to prove that other carriers 9700's have wifi capabilities. I said we can't advertise a phone as having that feature if it doesn't.

The stuff you hear, eh?

A carrier with 3G HDSPA can do simultaneous data and voice. AT&T and T-Mobile.
Not Verizon or Sprintxxx8230;yet
When they start using LTE protocol all will.

A carrier with just UMTS can do simultaneous voice and data. HSPA is not required.
