Exclamation Running extra SLOW lately! Any ideas why???

Please Login to Remove!

For the past few weeks my 8130 pearl has been running extra slow lately. I close all of the programs and notice the phone still goes down to 0 memory left. I've tried to delete a few programs, delete some saved messages with images, etc.

Could Facebook be slowing it down? That is the only new app I've loaded in the past few weeks but I haven't logged in or used it yet.

I am running the last updated v4.5 version Verizon put out.

Any ideas?

Remove it and see what happens. Anything is plausible with a non-factory install device

I notice that Google Maps, and Gmail will drain memory like crazy so I always remember to close them after I'm done. Might have to delete Facebook and see what's up.

Any other ideas or suggestions from experience?

Your media is saved to media card? You deleted the sample video if it exists?

Also go to general forum and look at stickie on maximizing memory. There are directions about themes and how to remove voice dialing app which many of us remove from beginning.

One or twice a week I'll go in and remove messages in my Gmail and Facebook that are older than a few days. I think both apps are set to delete anything older than 15 days, and that's a lot of data to store on it.

Try a battery pull and see if that helps.

I think it might be the Facebook app.
