Is this option supposed to work? I've tried "Send Article To Me" and "Send Article via Email" and typed in my address, but neither option seems to work. Is this a known issue or is it just me?

hmm, very strange... anyone have any ideas what could be causing this or how i could further troubleshoot? i just looked in the Account settings in the Viigo application and verified my correct email address.

another issue i just noticed, and i remember experiencing this same issue a year or so ago when i tried viigo on my Pearl... if I choose "Send Article via Email" and then type in my name, it shows me 3 e-mail addresses associated with my contact entry... no matter which email address I choose, it always enters my gmail address on the To: line. I enjoy being able to read stories in viigo, but not being able to send certain articles to myself for later reference on my PC is a deal breaker...

Try doing a battery pull. I had this problem when I first started using Viigo.

I did a battery pull then went back into the program and tried again and it went through. It has not done it again since.

Worth a try anyway...

battery pull is always worth a try... but i've done lots and lots of battery pulls and it has always behaved this way.

I noticed that whenever I try sending an article to myself, I never get it. However, if I try sending an article to a friend, they always receive it.

Hmm. When I have sent articles to me there has sometimes been a delay but I always got it. Which version is the OP using?

I noticed the same problem so I took the liberty of sending a But Report which can be done very easily and nicely through Viigo. under the feedback section on the Viigo home screen of the app.

I got an e-mail back from Viigo support telling me that they are aware of this issue and will have a fix for it in their next release which will be in the next few weeks...

I've had this issue from early viigo betas (prior to release) to the current 3.x series, on two different devices (8800 and 9000). It's always behaved like this for me. It may be in how I select myself from contacts but no matter which email address I choose, I get it sent to the first one listed, unless I edit it manually before sending.

For those not having the same issue, I would guess that either you only have one email address for yourself in contacts, or the first email address is actually the one you want to use anyways. Again, just a guess.
