Question Help!! About 8100 and 8110!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all!
Who can tell me the differences between 8100 and 8110,on handware configration.
What I'v got is that 8100 has the same CPU as 8100,momery,64MB flash and 16MB RAM.8110,64MB flash only, what about it's RAM?I'm quite sure it's there somewhere. But how many bytes?

Many many thanks!

Seems a big puzzle!

I searched that on blackberry's homepage,Unfortunately,got nothing!RIM never mentions any details!So bad!

So far I know they have the quite similar hardware, even as curve, who can explain why os 4.5 runs much better with 8110?

RIM offers a comparison web site..

Start here -> BlackBerry - Compare BlackBerry Devices | Wireless Handheld & Mobile Features Comparison From RIM

Drag the 8100 and 8110 to the bottom section.

It's pretty easy.

Found nothing about RAM?
There is a section called "Memory" towards the bottom.
Expand it to see that they both have the same amount of memory. Or RAM. 64mb.

RAM = Memory.

Thanks for replying!

I saw that "memory" bar, too. It says "flash=64MB".Can flash, instead of SDRAM,be used as RAM? Isnt it too slow to run apps?

Well,dropped it!

If you are asking if you can install 3rd party applications on your external memory and run the program from there, the answer is no.

I know, all 3rd party applications can ONLY run on built-in memory!

I just wanna get some information about 8100's RAM,as memory in PC.For a j2me app development.
