I've downloaded a couple games onto my BB 8130 and was wondering if there's a way to save them to my memory card. We went through the whole file explorer thing, found out you had to dl one, so I did, and I still can't find them on the card or the device memory. Any suggestions? I just thought if they're on the card it would free up the phones memory some. Thanks!

You can store the installation files on the media card but you can't actually install the game on the card. Only the device memory can be used for installation of software.

Ah...I see. So if I wanted to copy that installation file on to the card to transfer it to another phone, would that work? And how would I get them on the card? I'm a little BB savvy...but I learn something new every day.

If mass storage mode is enabled under Options >Media Card you can plug into your computer and drag and drop them to the card in My Computer.

I could be wrong but I think that is a carrier limitation. My pearl does MMS just fine!

It's not the Pearl that doesn't support MMS it's Alltell. Perhaps with Alltell being sold to Verizon they will support it soon.

Ah...they've been telling us since Jan that we're getting it. But...doesn't look that way. They left out the part that its Alltel's doings, not RIM. Thanks for the info!
