but before nothing would arrive on my device

somewhat relieved to hear it is not just cingular but seemingly all 7130x users across providers

i have a 7130c and was going crazy trying to figure out what was wrong

So far, since yesterday, emails are being delivered in < 1 minute to my BB.

I've had the same happen to me with Sprint. Sometime yesterday in the late afternoon/early evening, the problem was fixed.

Yep, its back! RIM just re-submitted the case to engineering. They told me that they found a problem with the Inbox on the BIS last week. They did say it affected lots of users across carriers..... guesst they didn't get it fixed!!

The problem seems to have resolved itself. Forwarding is almost instantaneous and I'm now getting the emails that were not forwarded earlier.

Don't be fooled by these results. When the problem exists, the delays are between 10-6 PM Eastern. Some days all is normal. RIM still has a problem that is elusive. I still believe its a BIS 2.0 issue that they need to resolve.

I agree. It's not constant, but it is periodic. And very annoying.

I suggest getting Cingular to report this to RIM. Its the only way for them to recognize this is a major problem. When I spoke with RIM I did not get the impression they thought it was affecting that many users.

I'm still having the same problems with Sprint. However, I've just given up. What I'm doing is to have my personal account (Gmail) BOTH forward to my blackberry.net address AND through POP.

I'm having problems again... except that this time it's worse than ever. My problem (and the one others were reporting here) is that emails sent to our xxxx.blackberry.net email addresses were not being forwarded on time. However, mail sent to one's BIS 2.0 accounts (i.e.: Gmail via POP) was being delivered within the 15-minute time frame that is to be expected. Not anymore. No personal email is coming through, period. I've tried resending the service books, but to no avail.

Now, why, precisely, am I supposed to stick around with RIM? Wasn't it because of "push" email?

The funny thing is that I WAS receiving emails about an hour ago but now nothing. I’ve sent ten emails to myself and I haven’t received any of them.
