I've been having a problem receiving MMS on my Storm for the past month or so...

I have the unlimited data plan, unlimited SMS and MMS and all the proper settings on my phone enabled...I was receiving them just fine when I first got the phone, but then a couple weeks later I just stopped receiving them.

I called Verizon tech support about this a couple days ago, they couldn't do anything for me and told me to take it to the store; I took it to the store the next day and even they couldn't do anything for me but send me another Blackberry in the mail. I would just really like to know if anyone has been having the same problem with the Storm that I have and what was done, if anything, to solve this problem indefinitely..
I was kind of hoping upgrading it to the 5.0 OS would solve the problem, however I was met with disappointment.

Havent heard anything but if theyre offering to give(free) you a new Storm then take it and your problem should be "solved". If a new unit doesnt work then it is proabably your account. But hell, take the new phone! :D

That's what I was thinking, it could be my account, but that's the thing: The Tech Support girl reset my account completely..and sent me a pic message and I still didn't get it.

And I am accepting the new phone, by the way. :P But what if this one does the same thing?

I still have problems with mine, its almost always that the file is to large.

As a person who is on his 6th Storm, I am willing to bet it's the unit. Take the new phone and your problem will be solved. I am sure of it.

Could that be why mine keeps saying the file is to large to view? It always seemed odd as most photo's were sent from a Verizon Phone.

I have activated the new Storm and I don't even GET an option for MMS. This is starting to drive me insane.

By the way, am I supposed to take the sim card from my old Storm and put it in the New one?

On Verizon I have never been able to receive or send pic msgs to anyone with an AT&T phone, if that could be a factor..

Doesn't matter any more for me, I'll be getting the DROID later this week. No more FailBerry for me.
I took it to the store, AGAIN, and they said they've never seen anything like this and it may have something to do with RIM's fail ass software, so they are letting me pick ANY phone I want in the store to replace the BlackBerry. I will be going back to the store Saturday to pick up the new Moto DROID!! Woot! Good deal if you ask me...
