I wish they would hurry up and release it. I have had countless issues trying to install the beta .113 on my phone and I am hoping the desktop software will make it easier once its finally released.

Thats unfortunate. I am going to have to try and install it myself again. Sigh.

At the risk of sounding weird, is it possible that different phones have different problems? My wife has a Storm as that is what her company will support. I have an iPhone for the same reason. I can tell you that the Storm seems to have a mind of its own. I have been back to the Verizon store a few times, and I might just as well talk to myself as the kids in most of these stores only know one question. "Want to buy a new phone?" I have been following the posts for quite some time and it is not possible for me to try new firmware or software unless Verizon does the install. Does anyone know for sure when the fix will really be in?

I installed the .113 beta, its ok so far, but I have yet to be impressed, has its ups and downs, the only thing I like is that so far (Fingers crossed) it has not frozen or restarted on its own. before when I fast typed on the storm it would cause it to lock up and then i would have to do the mighty battery pull and try again.. LOL.

7 days and counting...

when you say "lock up", do you mean entirely or just the keyboard or application that you were working within?

Basically the whole Blackberry would stop responding so I would have to do a battery reset.

Mine does this once in a while. The hard buttons will produce a response but the screen becomes 100% non responsive to touch. Won't even light it up.

If I bring up a menu or any screen using the BB button, any touch to the screen is still completely unrecognized. Battery pull resolves this.

I just started getting an "uncaught exception" error at startup. Haven't installed anything new in weeks. Bollocks! Now I have no mailboxes, or voicemail. I'm off to search the forums now that I'm done *****ing about it.

sucks that a battery pull seems to be the only viable solution

i've been told to get the memory to about 20 MB free always, but then you can't have that many applications since the memory is limited...not sure how i feel about that yet...at first, i was upset...just hoping that some of the updates can help the memory problems and possibly give us more space
