Unhappy Global outage. T-Mobile 3-29-2010

Please Login to Remove!

I had a couple of calls before getting to the office about some Blackberries that couln't get email. By the time I made my 20 minute commute the whole network is down. I have SOS for "signal". I am in Atlanta, but T-Mobile says its a global outage.

Same deal here in Atlanta. Can't make phone calls either on the Tmobile network. Although I can call numbers from my Tmobile phone to numbers outside of the Tmobile network. Also, Email has been down since like 5:00 AM. I called Tmobile to ask about it and supposedly it is a regional outage. They did not have an ETA on repairs.

It's not global, for sure, unless Alabama, Virginia, Oregon, California, Michigan are not on this planet.

Perhaps, globally in Atlanta? Let's see what other Tmobile users report.

I have a few users down, both voice and data. They seem to be coming up sporadically. The users who are down receive "this line is no longer in service"

According to the T-Mobile rep I spoke to it was global. That's why I posted this here to see if it really was or not. According to feedback here its not obviously. Luckily we are back up now.

I am amazed that a T-Mobile rep made it sound worse than it was.

Understood. Your rep could have meant "global" in terms of "all services" as in voice, SMS, data, etc.

was this voice services or data services that were out?

Angry Outage

After being on hold for a hour..Zac from Tmo advised me that there is an outage in GA, FL and other parts of the region ....I haven’t had service since approx 3am. I cannot dial out and at times I cannot receive calls in as well. It’s is currently sitting on the GSM network which means no BB messenger, Facebook or Yahoo messager. I get texts in but cannot respond….Oh yea and for our trouble we will be credited $10 on the entire account. That’s nothing when you have 4 lines and none of them work….BooFace
P.S. It’s affecting all phones on my account not just the BBs

Boo-frickity-hoo. At least be glad they don't shut your towers down at night like they do here so the terrorists can't talk to each other when the minutes are cheap.
