The symbol is indeed blinking... But it was already the case with all previous OS6 versions...

so i am using Win7 with IE9 and Microsoft Essentials

i go on the Vodafone DE site and try to d/l the OS .546. it starts to d/l, then i get a message "this file is not commonly downloaded and may cause harm to your computer". when i click for options and select "download anyway", it still does not d/l the file. i tried click run directly off the VDE website, same problem

did anyone have concerns d/l the OS to their computer?

i'm still having the same probs as with the other two .5xx releases. lag in sms and email and touchscreen problems with news feeds. three of the 5 most used things on my torch. Seems like a more stable build than my .486 but still has problems. *sigh* Hope they fix em soon cause i like this build minus the problems.

After a day of using .546, I did notice a bit of lag on touch screen sensitivity. Especially around the corner area, sometime you need tap few times in order to activate the function. Not sure if it is a sensitivity setting or the screen needs re-calibration....

Speaking of calibration, how to do that on 9800? couldn't find it in settings.....

After upgrading to this version I'm not able to get blackberry service OTA. i.e. I only get lowercase 3g and can only send/receive e-mails when I'm connected over wifi. I'm on a BES with an AT&T (US) device on T-Mobile UK right now. Any ideas on how to fix this? I installed the vodafone(DE) version. Are certain OSes only compatible with specific carriers/devices?

Finally this is "stuck"!!! This is the third official new os since the previous "stuck" os. Were the new AT&T and Bell Mobility OSs not worthy?
Anyway, installed .546 yesterday afternoon and not having any issues whatsoever. I am on BES and occasionally have issues reactivating. None on this OS.
Tried most of my applications and have not run into any issues so far.

I'm currently on .526 and am having the issue where I receive an email (BIS), and ask the Torch to download more of the message, and it comes up blank. Then I exit the message and re-read the message and the text is there.

Does anyone know if that issue is fixed in .546?

After few days of .546 upgrade, I did find one bug: The "Call Log" tap will acting as "Contact" tab on Phone screen after few days, or for some unknown reason. When it happens, a battery pull will fix it once, but now it didn't work at all.....

Did figured out a work around, when the "Call Log" tap malfunction, just hit the "Call history" key on Contact screen, then hit exit, the "Call Log" tap will function again......

Other than that and seemed lesser sensitive on the corner of touch screen.... I am pretty happy with .546 so far.

Nothing fancy, wondering if battery drains quicker with .546 and browser is less peppy? Still wondering...., may go back to .450 beta, as aside from the blinking charging icon, I don't see a difference?

My non-scientific impression is that battery life is improved.
Another initial non-scientific impression is that I am getting more lag time more often on touch and keyboard commands.

Crud - with the last upgrade I did, when I take my torch out of the holster, it wakes up and I can use the phys key board, but the touch screen and track pad are dead. I have to hit the lock button twice (black it out and back on) before I can use my touch screen or track pad again. I was hoping this upgrade would fix that, but it did not. =( I have not seen anyone else having this problem, so I guess it is just me?

Upgraded to official Vodafone UK release yesterday. When I switch the phone on I get the Vodafone SIM options pop-up. Anyone else have this problem?
