Default Migrating from one BES server to another.

Please Login to Remove!

Can anyone point me to the documentation that i could follow to migrate my BES Enterprise 4.1.4.12 server from one box to another?

I would really apprecitate any help here.

My current server is in poor health and we are migrating all apps off of it to new hardware.
What do i need to back up and how???

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I can help you with this if you would like. Its quite a task if you don't know where to start. Send me a PIN and I would be more then happy to help. I just got migrating a 4.0 BES to a NEW Windows 2003 server, and upgrading it to 4.1 SP5.

Ok, or do that. I was going to help since I just did it this past weekend. Even though mine was a little bit more advanced.

I just did a migration from 2.2 (on Windows server 2000) to 4.1.4 (on Windows Server 2003). We just purchased a migration kit. I got the server up and running and moved everyone over 1 by 1. That is easy with only 24 users though.

Default Migrating from one BES server to another

glamprecht,

I host my Blackberry through The Message Center. They were recommended through a friend, and I have had no issues as of yet (it's been three months), and have been very impressed with their oncall support. The migration process was as simple as saving everything in a pst file. You can find all the information you need here: The Message Center Exchange Hosting
