no common problem with trackball
Please Login to Remove!
Today i buy a 8100 in very nice price.
My trackball doesn't move to the right!!!
Up, Down and Left move OK!!!! only right is trouble...
I lifted up and see that one component (right top, check picture) is missing....
So this component works with the sensor movement to the right.
I guess that i can not fix this without changing the board of the phone.
HOW CAN YOU HELP ME????
Is there any way that in the main menu when I roll left the cursor continue to moving in the superior line. Something like what happens with the 8700 trackwheel movement. remember???
Thanks

My guess is that you will need to have it repaired. I do not think that is something one can do. If its under warranty, take it to the provider and have them either repair or replace. If not, it might be time to get a new BB.

Other than normal repair parts are not available. If your determined to try, look on Ebay for a junker and maybe you can use the parts. I bought a few that way and used the parts for repair.

Thanks TSAC...
Ok, but the deal is that I cant but via Ebay...
I am trying to look around for someone around here with a bad board and a good heart... Let me see what can I find...
In the meantime, does anyone knows a THEME which does not stop in the edges??? Like the 8700 does with the trackwheel....
Thanks
