I installed 5.0.0.230 for my sprint 8330 curve and everything worked except for the app world. I am therefore inquiring whether OS 5.0.0.328 will work for the 8330 curve . I would appreciate any assistance.

I have .328 running just great on my 8330, app world still does not work.
Other than that the hybrid is excellent.


8330 now kicks arse.

I just upgraded to 5.0.0.328 and dont seem to receive any SMS...... Other apps seem to work fine.

Please try a battery pull.

Battery pulling also did not help.......

I don't know what is wrong with your BB if the only thing NOT working is SMS. Someone else advise: is there a service book specifically associated with SMS that maybe needs to be resent?

I'm upgrading right now to a newer version of this hybrid OS. Looks like it should probably be tagged 5.0.0.351, but the developer who built it still has it tagged as .328

There are no service books for sms.
